Københavngata 10

Outside Københavngata 10 is the bus stop “Dælenga” where the 30 bus to Nydalen passes. It’s a 5 minutes walk to Birkelunden tram stop where you will find tram nr. 11, 12 and 13. There is also a bus stop above the building called Københavngata where several buses such as the 20, 21 and 28 passes by. The nearest bicycle stand is called Fagerheimsgata and is located just outside the building. Carl Berner’s Square is the nearest subway station.

At the same address as our student apartments, Anker STI has one of it’s Hotels, Anker Apartment. It is an apartment hotel and hostel where you as our tenant can accommodate friends and family at discounted prices when they visit. Read more about this here. You can easily do grocery shopping in the Joker store located in the 1st floor. It is actually possible to stroll down in your slippers, since you dont need to go outside.

It is a short distance to the Oslo College of Art and Westerdals. Københavngata 10 is also attractive to students studying at Nydalen, as the 30 bus passes right outside every 10th minutes. Grünerløkka offers exciting activities throughout the year, especially popular is “Elvelangs” on the Akerselva where 4400 torches are lit with 140 cultural features to mark the fall and dark season. It offers live music, lighting art and installations that create a totally magical atmosphere.

At Birkelunden there is a Sunday market (second hand market) where you can find good fleas. It’s also farmers travelling to Oslo selling their raw materials, meat and vegetables. Throughout the year it is mini concerts on the Music Day in Oslo and other events that are worth going to, since it’s for free. Best of all- you have a short way home!

It is Q-Park that operates the car park in Københavngata 10. They offer student prices to our residents. If you want to rent a parking space, you must contact Q-Park.

Guests visiting must purchase a parking ticket from a parking meter in the garage.

When moving in and out, our parking space right in front of the ramp in the garage can be used. Please note it is only two parking places and they are marked in Norwegian “innflytt” and “utflytt” that means moving in and moving out.  The car can be parked for max. 20 min and from the ramp you can access the elevator area. 

You can find your mailbox in a seperate post room right after the main entrance to the left in the 1st floor. To receive mail, you must report change of address to Posten yourself. You must also remember to put your name on the mailbox.

There is a storage room for all 1-bedroom single apartments 18-21m2. For everyone else, it might be possible to rent a storage unit if available. Your storage room is marked with the same number as your room number. Remember that you must bring your own padlock and lock it when moving in. The storage unit must be empty and without the padlock when moving out. 

You can park your bike in the basement. Bicycles parked on site are under your own responsibility.
